10 of the world’s best windsurfers have gathered in County Kerry, Ireland for the first mission of the Red Bull Storm Chase – the most-challenging windsurfing contest of all time. Journeying from their training bases and homes all over the world, all 10 sailors have answered the call to assemble within 48-hours from locations as far afield as Hawaii, the mainland US, the Marshall Islands, South Africa, Chile, Morocco, France, Germany and Spain’s Canary islands

Thomas Traversa wins the 2012 KIA Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup

Thomas Traversa gets a big hug from his friend and caddy for the final, Alex Mussolini, as he comes out of the water after 25 minutes battling with wave world champion, Philip Köster, in the Super Final. His girlfriend, Sophia Regerbis, runs towards him and congratulates him with a kiss.

Koster Wins Second World Title In Cold Hawaii Classic

Philip ‘the kid’ Köster confirmed himself as the 2012 PWA Wave World Cup champion by winning the semi-final of the KIA Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup as the sun set on Wednesday evening. He set up a revenge final with Thomas Traversa, the French rider, who had ambushed earlier in the day in the single elimination, knocking him out in the semi-final.
